The Yoga Classes

WELCOME TO PENINSULA YOGA CLASSES

In classes expect to receive precise and guided instruction for postures that align the body and mind in harmonious movement. Postures - the asana - are adjusted through the use of props and supports to meet the needs of each individual. All classes include deep relaxation. Over time physical benefits are realized in postural improvement, increased strength, tone, flexibility and balance thus one also experiences relief from pain. The attention to precision brings focus and concentration allowing participants to release mental tension and learn how to better deal with the stress of daily life.

Please wear comfortable clothing to class and know that the practice of yoga requires bare feet so there will be no slipping.

Please do not eat a meal just before coming to class.

Please refrain from using perfumes and scented soaps as some people experience allergic reactions.

SUMMER Registration is open CALL 250 656 - 9493

Led Practice

Led Practice

A Led Practice is  a dynamic class with a sequenced flow of poses. Follow and be guided by the instructor as you move through a series of poses that are based on what is learned in your regular classes. There will be minimal instructions. Inspire and enhance your personal practice of yoga as you move from the peripheral body to the core of your being. This is a great way to jump start your home practice.
Join your fellow yogis for this early morning class!
