Jayne Jonas

Jayne began studying Iyengar Yoga in 1992 with Joan White, who holds one of the very few advanced teacher credentials given by Guruji, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States. She moved to lovely Victoria in April 2006 and has since taken classes with all of the senior teachers at the Victoria Yoga Centre. Jayne continues to study weekly with Marlene Miller and Shirley Daventry French. She has also studied with many national and international Iyengar Yoga teachers including, Geeta and Prashant Iyengar. Jayne had the opportunity of studying with the Iyengar family in Pune, India on several occasions. Jayne is teaching at both our studio and the Iyengar Yoga Centre of Victoria. She serves on the Peninsula Board of Directors and The Iyengar Yoga Association of Canada/Association canadienne de yoga Iyengar.
